Meet Emma
Hi, Iโm Emma - a Certified Thermalistยฎ Method Contrast Therapy Instructor and Certified Oxygen Advantageยฎ Instructor.
I create calm, supportive spaces where you can explore cold and heat in a way that feels safe, empowering and genuinely transformative. My approach brings together contrast therapy, functional breathwork and a deeper understanding of your nervous system, so you can build resilience and feel more at home in your body.
-
Turning 40 was a real turning point for me.
I felt stuck in the role of โmum,โ overwhelmed by the juggle of family life - often solo while my husband was away for work - and slowly losing a sense of who I was beyond that. I wasnโt sleeping well, my energy was low, my motivation had dipped, and my health was starting to suffer.
At one point, I just thoughtโฆ this canโt be it. So I got curious.
What started as a small step towards feeling better became a much bigger journey into health and wellbeing - one rooted in consistency, self-awareness and stepping outside my comfort zone.
Over the past six years, thatโs looked like giving up alcohol for 18 months, joining group coaching, experimenting with fasting, reconnecting with nature, and completing both a marathon and an ultra marathon.
And then there was the cold.
I still remember my first cold shower - it was intense, shocking, and honestly not something I was rushing to repeat. But something about it stayed with me.
So I kept coming back.
Slowly, gradually, I began to build my tolerance - moving from cold showers to lake swimming and eventually ice baths. And over time, I started to notice a real shift.
My energy improved. My mood lifted. I felt calmer, clearer, and more like myself again - not just as a mum, but as a whole person.
Now, through my training, I understand the science behind that feeling. And Iโm passionate about sharing this work in a way that feels supportive, accessible and grounded in both research and real life.
This isnโt about extremes or pushing yourself beyond your limits. Itโs about learning how to work with your body, understand your responses, and build confidence, resilience and balance in a way that lasts.
A few things about me:
Iโm a mum of three and married to Matt, and Iโm happiest when Iโm moving, outside, or near water.
I love the outdoors, 80โs music, and Iโm not afraid of a cheesy joke.
And at the heart of everything I do is this belief: feeling good in your body shouldnโt feel complicated โ it should feel natural, supportive and something you can come back to again and again.
